Try changing the scaling to powersave...OR back down the clock speed. The unresponsiveness...and reboots happens to me when I push my phone past the 1.19 ghz mark. The unresponsiveness could just be the scaling not catching up.

Flashed pre7 earlier so far so good. My twidroyd acted a little weird awhile ago...and that was it

Im having a problem on sound in setting on pre7 ,it FC`s always cannot change sound...Any help would appreciated...Thanks

Pre7 (yes i know pre6 got skipped) is now public. Pre-loaded with tiamat kernel 3.3.7 WITH sbc, yes WITH sbc. If you are stable and dont feel like testing, please skip this pre although everything should be working. I just flashed this to my phone tonight ( actually 2:30am in the morning ) myself so i havent have enough time to play with everything myself yet. But feel free to help me out! Also i attached facebook 1.5.2 to the OP cause i got sick of 1.5.3's FC's. hopefully they get that app updated soon. Let me know!

Please provide an alternative release, or at the least, make it noted in the OP that the rom will use code to sacrifice battery endurance for battery life, and perhaps, safety. I am referring to the "SBC" modification which modifies the battery code, something which is HIGHLY engineered and is code based on decades of research. In fact li-ion batteries simply wouldn't be viable in consumer products for the massive amount of engineering that's gone into their control.

I am definitely not bashing you, just saying you should put a notice about what's in the rom now. I also hope you can provide an alternative without the SBC modification.

is it really that hard to flash a different kernel over? and i already stated pre7 has sbc. so i dont see what you are getting at. there is even a version of the same kernel without sbc. im sorry you feel the way you do about sbc, as you are missing out.

B4 every rom I flash...I wipe the cache, dalvik, and factory...in that order and then do it again.

By now everyone knows what SBC is and he doesnt have to put a notice up. You realize what your getting yourself into once you flash this rom, and as an alternative i suggest you go an get yourself a non sbc kernel to flash....

for the guy having location problems, you MAY have to redo your gps fix, ive seen some replies where people arent redoing it once they flash... some people dont, some people do. plan ahead.
