In fact li-ion batteries simply wouldn't be viable in consumer products for the massive amount of engineering that's gone into their control.

I am definitely not bashing you, just saying you should put a notice about what's in the rom now. I also hope you can provide an alternative without the SBC modification.
There is a hardware overvoltage protection built into the charging path. You must be one of the tards that had a battery go bad while using an SBC kernel and thought it was because of the mod. Rofl.

Anyways. Is anyone having problems with game framerates? Ever since the 3d gallery bug mine haven't been acting right. Not consistently low but very randomly jerky. And I am getting some of the "cm7 video jerk" now on pre7

Re: [4-22-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [pre7][1.0]

SBC is awesome, especially for people like me with extended batteries... It would be a royal pain to charge it, wait till light goes green, turn off phone, continue charging for an hour, unplug, turn it back on, connect the charger again, etc etc etc just to condition the battery.

Your schedule should never revolve around trying to get a full battery charge... Which, without SBC anyone with an extended battery would have to do. Anyone with a regular battery, it will still give you an additional 5-10% extra battery life.

Re: [4-22-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [pre7][1.0]

hey guys,

this is the first rom I flashed after rooting. Im liking it so far.. one question i have though is Swype. it doesn't appear to be included in this rom. any idea how i can install it? my previous beta swype expired long ago... a big reason for flashing was to get it back. i'd appreciate any help

thanks! and great job on the rom!

Re: [4-22-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [pre7][1.0]

Hey Deck, really enjoying your ROM. One minor issue though that I've noticed for a couple of builds is the Accessibility menu is missing from the Settings page. I know it's there because one of my apps takes me to it directly, but there is no way to access it from the Settings menu. Any way you can add it back in?

Thanks!

not unless some background processes are eating your cpu cycles.

Try running ATK and killing everything before you run the quadrant
should be at a minimum at that frequency 1300. Bare minumum. On fresh install after killing everything and running quadrant at that speed it will be 1500+
