What is the proper way to install this ROM? The directions confused me...it says install the Gingerbread ROM ZIP. That statement is singular, but there are two Gingerbread ROMS.

The first time, I just install Gingerbread 1.1 ZIP and all the other stuff. I seemed to have a couple force close problems off the bat so I went back into recovery and installed the 1.0 ROM and then the 1.1 ROM and the other stuff. Things seem to work for me now. but I want to make sure I am doing things right.

Thanks for any clarifications. This is my first time putting a custom ROM on since I rooted the EVO.

I think its suggested to wipe completely before flashing 1.1 because its the newer release of gingerbread. 1.0 is 2.3.3. 1.1 is 2.3.4. I'm running 1.0 without any issues. 1.1 has an mms bug so thats why deck put that back up there for download. He is currently working on 1.2 which will have fixes for the 1.1 bug so until then I would suggest 1.0

This ROM is amazing. I can't believe the battery life I'm getting. This rom in conjunction with Savaged-Zen 2.1.0, and I can go a full day with average to heavy use and still be at 35% to 60% after 18+ hours off the charger.
