Hey Amikam. Do you have APKs for all the HTC stuff you removed? Particularly friendstream.

Re: MikROM (with and without updated radio and removable apps)

i am going to stop the rom development for now since i got school starting up on monday, and i just got a new laptop about two hours ago... so i gotta make all the changes and such.

i noticed most of u guys d/l the rom with the new radio included in it... im hoping no issues with it to anyone.

anyways... once ill have time again ill start working on.

if anyone need help in figuring out how to add a radio into their own rom or into someones elses rom, let me know... i have no problems explaining u guys how to do it.

Re: MikROM (with and without updated radio and removable apps)

ok guys... a tiny update.

im uploading my personal rom which is a little lighter than what else is up here (130MB).
even though most of the apps are not removable, the big ones are(sprint nav, tv etc..).
its a mix of many packages from many diff roms updated with the big list of blocked ads on hosts file.
also, a few tiny tweaks that i've tried and they seem to workout nicely.

i wont put up a big change log or anything cuz im simply sharing my own rom with u guys and not trying to make it a part of the rom's development.

i took out a bunch of wallpapers, ringtones, a few more things, and added/updated somethings.

feel free to try it if u want.

rom manager really makes it easy to flash back and forth (make sure u check the wipe option just to be safe).

i will probably ditch any development of the rom until i will have time to mess with it as i want to.

here is the link:

MikROM

i noticed it before... i dont know why it does that sice i didn't really touch anything that has to do with images inside apk's.
maybe ill try to zipalign the package with the clock to see if it would help... or maybe zipaligning it in the first place is the problem somehow since it is aligned.

im really not sure why or what caused it.. and im not sure whether other roms have that issue or not also.
anyways... i really think its the smallest issue ever.
personally i use betteralarm as my alarm on the phone.. try it out, many more options.

one thing that coulde be the cause is the fact that im using fonts that also support hebrew... i really dont see how that would effect only that and nothing else... but also an option.

anyways... im sorry, but i really dont know exactly what to do about it, but like i said... i dont even feel that its problem.

i hope everything else is working good... battery life should be really really good with the version i uploaded latest version i uploaded.
there are a lot of tweaks and useless packages that have been taken off.

Re: MikROM (with and without updated radio and removable apps)

Aside from that not a whole lot of issues, one glitch was with the quick contacts area but im not sure what that was. I have noticed that just moving to the rom has extended my batt life. Iwill try betteralarm and see what ur talkin about. Do you use the Pro version or the Ad supported one?

just the one from the market... i didnt even try to lookup the pro version yet.
i think that the host file that i included into the rom(light version) blocks a lot more than any other rom since the list that i have in there is from about 4, 5 diff roms.
