hey OMJ is there something a little off kilter in the GPS configuration , the reason I askedis because the weather app is not finding my location but giving a generic location, it is not doing that in 3.6 or 3.7

Yep, I manually updated rom manager and titanium, everything else looks like a go. Still kind of wondering if there is a super secret new version of facebook running around.

I googled facebook 2.3 and the only thing that came up was for blackberry. I doubt facebook would jump from 1.3.2 all the way to 2.3. Believe that its a typo.

How can I remove Apps2sd from rom 3.8 so I can go back to the wifi tether rather than the sprint hotspot version?

you cant remove its written in to the code


use this tether dont update it

Thanks for the info, I wish it was the more recent version of wireless tether that would work with it. I dont really care about apps2sd at all to sacrifice the loss of 4g speeds on sprint hotspot. I may just go back to 3.7 and wait to see if anything changes or omj removes apps2sd again.

I really like the wireless tether status where it tells you how much has been uploaded and downloaded in a session too.

it seems to lose location setting when an email comes in from gmail. I live in Baytown texas and I had the location working perfect but it loses location setting when an email and then its ahs a generic location until I move around and travel to a different town 20 minutes away

you have to use ra recovery to partition your sd card
