Go to ROM manager and flash alternate recovery. Flash amon RA just for the ROM flash, you can always flash Clockwork again later. Use that to wipe and flash. Hope that does it for you.

at room manager on the botom of the first screen you should find the option more recoveries, below of that said flash alternatate recovery just click ther and thats it you got new ra recovery

umm is this in the recovery menu? becuse i cant keep the phone on long enough to do anything before it crashes. i unlock then bam the phone crashes

updated to the newest deodexed and now my sd card will not mount? Help please

Do you know adb/fastboot commands?
Do you have the Android SDK?
You could flash the amon recovery image from fastboot
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

You would have to have the recovery.img in your Tools folder.
You can grab the file from FastRX8's root tutorial thread

the phone booted and stayed on long enough for me to flash Ra through rom manager and i installed v3.0 odex. i hope this fixed it. if not ill try that u said, not to great with what u said but ill learn lol
