3 - How often is app killer cycling? If you are listening to music and phone is on but once the phone goes to sleep (screen off) then App Killer is set to kill Music app once "Screen Off". Those are one of the options in App Killer.

Take a look and report back.. all these issues people are having with music, battery drain, syncs, not getting laid, what, what???, and other common problems, should not be attributable to OMJs ROM... Most of them are simple tweaks that need to be managed and set up accordingly..
App Killer is set for 2 hrs. Apparently it is only related to Dolphin. I have to figure out if there is a setting to keep it running while screen is off because the only option is to keep screen always on. Thanks.

The ROM I am on is listed in the first post as:
OMJ EVO 2.2 FroYo v2.1
Includes Stock Kernel (Wifi Tether now working w/ 2.0.5_pre7)

And I can confirm HDMI is working.

Which ROM are u using? 9mb, very nice!
I'm using your Froyo 2.2 v2.1 ROM with Netarchy's 3.7.8b kernel.

First question...the only "color theme" that OMJ has posted is for Eclair. So, if you flashed that...wrong OS and ROM.

My suggestion is to go into recovery and wipe data, wipe cache and wipe dalvic-cache. In fact, I might suggest doing all 3 twice (yes, probably overkill).

Then pick either of the bottom two ROMs on Post 1 (don't use anything from Post 2). If you're thinking of applying a theme I would go for the last ROM listed on Post 1.

Now check back with us afterward and someone more knowledgeable (like iknowsquat) will help you further if you still are having issues.
Ok, I wiped twice (all 3 -data, cashe, delvik) and then flashed OMJ EVO 2.2 FroYo PPCG Edition. The youtube and Sprint TV work almost flawless with on the OMJ EVO 2.1 Eclair V1.9 Sapphire Themed ROM. Does newer not necessarily mean better? I was expecting this phone could play a 4-7min video without stopping every 2-3 secs. Thanks.

So i found out the culprit of my 4G woes... I flashed the original PC36img and then rom1 v1.7 then froyo... completely skipping eng-pc36img... So i went back and flashed eng-pc36img, rom1, both new radios, and finally froyo. Everything seems to be working now. thanks for the help

I need to get more up to speed using SDK, I know it's used to develop apps, and I believe u can set it up to emulate the ROM, but I have had little luck. Do u have a guides Squat?

I deleted the app killer last nite. I gotta say that it looks like it was working pretty good cuz I've been unplugged for 6 hours and I'm down to 42% battery.. ill keep messing with the apps (normal) use and see if EVO learns my usage patterns and adjusts accordingly... ill report again in a day or two..

OMJ.. any new ROMs coming out soon???.... I need to flash sumtin...

While it doesn't relate to OMJ specifically...I do like sharing with OMJ's following.

I came across a cool widget that is free. It puts 4 icons in the space of one. So you can group, etc.

It's called Multicon Widget and it's on the market. Comments say the dev is working to add folders, shortcuts and mini-functions to its capabilities in the near future.
