Well same question to you then--how did you install the theme?
If you installed an entire themed ROM I'd wipe and reinstall.
If you just applied the theme then I dunno

i installed the theme with the rom. i used rom manager to install it. i selected wipe and what ever it said. ill try it again.

I can't update my PRL or Profile..
I'm on:
Baseband: 2.05.00.06.1
Kernel Version: 2.6.29-789bf291 (htc-kernel@and18-2 #1)
Build number: 1.47.651.1
Software number: 1.47.651.1 OMJ 1.8
PRI Version: 1.34_003
PRL Version: 60662

When I hit update PRL, I get:
Checking for PRL update.. Then:
PRL could not be updated. Please try again later. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Customer Service. Error code 1012.

Any ideas?

Try Profile first then PRL and keep trying could just be a busy network issue.
Also try a reboot then go right to update...

Yeah I already tried that, still no go. Same error. Could someone else try it and see if they get the same error? Is my radio up to date, and does that matter btw?

Works fine here Bro both Profile and PRL. I'm on 1.9 but I frequently check for new PRL and I know it was working when I was on 1.8
Yes, your radio is up to date and yes it matters. The latest software is meant to work with the latest radio (as per calkulin) though some people say you can mix and match.
Your PRL is not up to date (which I assume you know) the latest is 60668 You just re-rooted correct? Did you do 1.7 ROM1 then 1.8?

Yeah I thought the radio was good. On my old phone I had the newest PRL, that's how I knew it wasn't up to date..

And yes I rooted, then flashed 1.7 ROM1 PC36whatever.zip, then flashed 1.8 odexed. It takes me about an hour to manually install all the apps using titanium donate version, so I'd prefer not to wipe again..

Give it till the AM (well later this AM), just in case it's a networks issue. Having an updated PRL isnt critical but it can affect battery life to not be up to the latest.

Preferred Roaming List
Just tells your phone where the latest towers are that your carrier has roaming agreements with.
So it doesnt directly affect signal strength. I could see how it may appear that way.
It more directly affects coverage area.
It can help with battery life since it makes it easier for the device to find a signal when roaming.
