How did you put the PC36IMG file of ROM1 on your card?
What exactly did you name it? Look at it on your card. What does it say exactly?
You are getting that error because your file can be found/read. Back to my other question-are you connected to the PC via USB? If so, how? If your card is mounted the device wont be able to read your card.

Well for some strange reason. "user error" its working now.. Flashing rom1 and then back to rom2.. Hopefully I wont have the contacts issue this time around.. Thanks alot fellas for all your help..

Sweet! Save yourself time Bro. Just stay on ROM1. There's no significant difference. Cant see a reason to flash both.

i put PC36IMG (OMJ EVO 2.1 Eclair v1.7 w/ OTA updates) into my sd main directory and its starts to read it in the boot menu but once its done it doesn't give me the option to install updates and then reboot, what am i doing wrong?

need to fully root phone again !! if u try to just do part 2(root) now it will do same thing as omj s pc36 file. reads but no update option

Are you full root with part 2?http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ght=root+part2 You must have this to run rom1....

yes agreed. but now since u tried to install the new pc36 rom file it will no longer read part 2 of the root. so u will have to start from step (version1) then do step 2 ! will be golden
