Real quick question for anyone on???? I still don't have 4G and it doesn't seem to be an issue with my MAC I'm attempting to do the full start over now to see if I can get 4G to work my question is will titanium back up mess up any progress I have?

Dont see how it would as Titanium is backing up settings and apps not the system files needed for root, radio, wimax, etc.

I ran the Start Over method, used Titanium once I got back to OMJ and have been doing AWESOME

Well I've tried everything I guess no 4G for me maybe I'll have to return this one and get another

Are you saying that the Start Over method from whitslack @ XDA didn't work for you?

Yes sir that's what I'm saying. I'm just having all kinds of issues. I went to see if my girlfriends EVO was getting 4G and it wasn't just a coverage sittuation. Her's gets it just fine.

Well that sux, I'd still throw a post over in that thread. The man knows his shiz and can maybe troubleshoot for you.

when I get back, I'll be working on a updated ROM that should incorporate the fixes for 4G.

Also, now that HTC has released the source code for the EVO, there will be new Froyo ROMS appearing, so b4 anyone asks, I wont be cooking Froyo until HTC releases the official ROM w/ Sense. Most if not all custom Froyo roms will be w/o Sense. Personally I'm a big fan of Sense & have no desire for a sense-less ROM. Hopefully we'll see a official release soon

So today i flashed my very first rom for my phone
very proud ove my self for not bricking it as im very new to android so still makeing my way around lol

I seen the source floating around out there, cant wait to see some froyo love. Personally Sense is the best UI for android out there, loved it in winmo and its even better for android! Will be waiting for your ROMs OMJ!

So I've looked at pretty much everything to get my 4G fixed. Everything else seems to be working fine but the 4G. I've noticed that the it will go from scanning to authenticating to connecting then flash connecting briefly then go back to scanning it will do this twice and then stay at scanning. Anyone with any ideas?
