I'm testing a fix for the Market will post up results.
Since we aren't "supposed" to be on Froyo till Tuesday I'm not surprised there are some Market issues.

On other devices with this issue a simple build.prop fix tricked the Market into thinking that the device was using Eclair. Problem is it has to be device specific. No Evo fixes yet afaik. Like I said earlier-I would think the issue will be cleared up after Tuesday.

Advertisements for me are also showing up even though I unchecked that in ROM manager.

This is annoying. I can't get rid of ads and trying to connect to my home network is not working. I'm thinking about going back to 1.8 OMJ.

Did you wipe twice data and dalvik, then flash the OMJ room with radio reboot, then flash wimax? did you follow this steps then just turn on wifi then pick your home network and type your passcode thats all that i did i hope this help you, since you will be flashing againt to omj 1.8 try to flash froyo one more time with those steps and tell me if you found your home network at the end, Good Luck:headbang:

I will try and flash again I guess. I can see my home network and it tries to connect then immediately disconnects.

Alright, just wiped everything twice and reinstalling to see if it fixes the wifi and the ad problem.

Hey guys,
How do we keep all the stuff from starting up every time it gets killed with Task Killer?
Is it even a big deal? I would assume it is, than why even include the task killer app. Thanks for any suggestions.

Great ROM but I just have one request. Is there anyway we can get the stock froyo lock screen for this ROM? I really hate the one that Sense uses. I find it rather dopey looking.

Just downloaded that. It removes the ads but leaves a webpage not available icon. Hopefully when they update rom manager it will be fixed.

Wi-fi is working fine for me. I have connected to my home network and downloaded all my apps from the market. Can't speak for tether, but it appears to be dead, at least for the moment.

yes, same here some ones got acces to tether another ones noop but pretty sure that the master well be founding the solution really soon

so I'm almost 100% I can do this but i wanna make sure, if I flash the ROOTED froyo rom or OMJ's Rom and I don't like it, can i just restore my nandroid back-up and it will work fine, or do I need to do sumthin special????

Odd behavior...

Iheartradio shows connecting but never gets to buffering-connect. It has a quit application which didn't close it so moved over to APK and even that wouldn't stop it. Did reboot. Uninstalled app and reinstalled, still won't connect. Any ideas?

Radiotime connected just fine but had same behavior even with APK. Did reboot.

Anyone have any ideas as to why these streaming apps won't close even with APK? Didn't have this issue with 2.1

yes you can but if you updated the radio and WIMAx you will have to switch those back as well.
you will like the new ROM other than the non working wifi-tethering

Ir it helps any what is happening is the wifi tether program is being blocked somehow from turning on the wifi radio.

I had the same issues with wunderradio and with MLB. I read steaming method was changed by google but am at work so can't find the source right now. The only streaming radio that closes like it should that I've used is Yahoo Music radio

Before I Flash this new rom does this have the awesome Froyo keyboard not the stock one. If not where can it be found? Because i cant stand the keyboard on ava's froyo rom.

I'm currently on Damage Control 3.2.3 so can i just flash this without changing the radio or wimax...or if I do have to change it back, which are the correct radios and wimax for damage control???
