By the way, I know you were in a bit of a rush OMJ and with the holidays and all but Rom Manager was not updated with 4.1.

Thanks again.

Does any of this mean that the sprint hotspot app is no longer hacked on this rom and we should use the wifi router app in it's place or are we ok using either one.

I absolutely don't want to find any surprise charges on my bill.

Thanks for another awesome rom OMJ, getting ready to flash now. :)

the deodexed rom does have the modified wifirouter.apk (hotspot), I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think the usb tether hack is needed.

Thanks OMJ. I have used the (hotspot) app without installing the usb tether hack on your last couple of roms, 3.8 & 4.0. Is there anything different with 4.1? Did you already apply the hack in the earlier roms and not in 4.1? Sorry, just trying to make sense of this.

Thanks again.

Hey OMJ, when the new framework files are released do you plan on just patching 4.1 or are you going to put out 4.2? I think I will wait until the new framework files are done and then do a complete wipe.

Thanks! I've got my EVO rooted and running the OMJ 4.1 rom. I have three more EVO's in my family, but those are newer, and running hboot 2.02 . I am re-reading the instructions at unrevoked to root, and they don't mention anything about handling hboot 2.02 differently than prior versions, but you had asked my hboot version. Can I follow the same process for these three newer hboots as I did my older hboot?

Also, on a side note for the phone I already completed, I got an error about unsupported radio at the end of the root process, and my boot still says s-on , but all other indications are that my phone is rooted (tethering is fine, superuser icon, # instead of $ prompt), so should I be concerned about anything?

If you phone says s-on then I would believe you are not fully rooted
