Think I'm going to hold off until bugs are worked out and radios are included.

You could get the radio from here. It's already out there.

Could I still use that radio with the prior rom though?

NOTE* on the Deodexed ROM, the ROM would not boot when I updated the framework files, so I had to revert to stock until the framework files have been modified.
the reboot mod is part of the framework

I'd asked earlier what framework updates were left out due to issues. Looks like all of Calkulin's framework mods are not included in this ROM as they were for 3.29/3.30 versions, this update being 3.70. So until Calkulin updates his fixes/mods, we'll have to wait.

So far it looks like we're missing (but not limited to):
-4-in-1 Reboot Menu
-USB Debugging Notification Disable
-USB Tether (Sprint Hotspot is "fixed" by this too, I think)
-MMS Compression/5MB limit

I think those are the only mods OMJ includes in this regard.

the radios are not in roms cooked by OMJ
for roms the have radios included they must be in pc36.img format

Which framework files were you updating that didn't work?

several...I don't know for a fact which one/ones were causing the issue, I was in a rush, so I reverted all framework files.

framework-res.apk (smoothsenserefined)
android.policy.jar (4-In-1-Reboot-Menu)
services.jar (Disable_USB_Debugging_Notification)
framework.jar (USB_Tethering_Fix)

Interesting change in size. I have each download since 3.1 on my PC and this one is 20 MB larger than all of them.

most of the 20mb is due to the added apps in the stock ROM (Kindle, Blockbuster, NOVA, etc)

I removed the Sprint apps that I normally do, but left in the new apps

no bugs that I see, just waiting for the updated framework files, I wont be including the radios, much easier to install the all in one from Calkulin

yep....I did add the 5mb tweak, but not the compression fix

I also added a 4G tweak I picked @ XDA, don't know much about it though...

actually the kitchen can include the baseband radio w/ the ROM, the 1st ROM I cooked had it included, but I removed since it would be easier to flash Calkulins all-in-one

wanna check straight from your phone???

Install the app ConnectBot, make a local connection, any username. @ the $ prompt, type su, then type wimax_mtd :D

Does any of this mean that the sprint hotspot app is no longer hacked on this rom and we should use the wifi router app in it's place or are we ok using either one.

I absolutely don't want to find any surprise charges on my bill.

Thanks for another awesome rom OMJ, getting ready to flash now. :)
