Are u talking about the new Sense from the Desire HD dump? If so, yes, I plan on building one, I hear the new Sense is awesome, but last I heard there are still issues getting it to work 100% w/ the EVO.

I can confirm 3G WIFI tether is NOT working ONLY 4G is working... This is what im working with.

Baseband ver: 2.15.00.09.01
Kernel ver: 2.6.32.15 w/ kings kernel #9 (tried 6 and 4 w no luck)
Build #: 3.29.651.5
Software: OMJ v3.4
Pri: 1.77

Like I said I tried several kernels with no luck at all. Not sure why 3G tether is having issues. Shows it connects but no data being transmitted by looking at tether app... thx for checking this.

thanks for the info.....I'm doing some testing, I can confirm 3G wifi tether is working on the stock base ROM. I cooked in my mods & left out apps2sd, tethering still working (tethering right now as a matter of fact)

I'm gonna add back in apps2sd & test, if tether fails, bye bye apps2sd....sorry Karl, lol

Very odd because as soon as I flashed I tried your stock kernel that came with 3.4 and no go on 3G. Maybe I did something incorrectly... Im just going to wipe everything again and start from scratch again. hmm thx

it's nothing u did....I have confirmed adding apps2sd is killing wifi tether. I see data being uploaded but not downloaded.

I have v3.5 odex & deodexed ready (no apps2sd), uploading soon. It will take a couple hrs for both roms to complete, odex will be first, I'm leaving soon after I start the upload, you can check my index page, when u see the file size stop increasing, you know it's done.

the deodex rom will also have Calkulins tweaks added back in along w/ a cool reboot option when u hold the power button.

Nah not the desire sense UI, the aosp with sense, virus some how did an aosp Rom but also has sense UI along with aosp. I'll post the link in a bit so you can see what I mean.

OK awsome as long as you can confirm issue I feel better lol. I thought I was going crazy. Just reflased everything w/ same issues. I can wait for the fix no worries. As long as I know its a confirmed issues is all I care about and nothing I did im good. As always YOU DA MAN!!! thx again

Question regarding odexed/deodexed...

If you're on an odexed ROM, created a backup of apps with Titanium Backup, is it safe to restore those on a deodexed ROM...and vice versa?
