I can send short vids at that resolution, only @ 15sec in length.

Did you confirm that the recipient actually received it? I called Sprint tech support about this and they sent me a test video I got it just fine, but when I forwarded it nobody got it.
I could actually send it to myself and receive it. But if I sent to to my wife, who also has an Evo, she never got it, and I got no error message or anything.

The video is 3 seconds long...

doesnt work. if i try and run it i get application not installed. if i place it in the system/app folder when you try and enable hot spot it still crashes.. i'm trying to test a wired tether app but it says it needs hotspot installed...

can some one tell me what i need to do when i install a rom from rom manager. like i go into the recovery menu, is it just like the other one where you wipe cache and nand backup . . . .then install the rom zip file?

Looks like we have Sapphire with colored menus, I was just going to do that yesterday. See what happens when I load this hope it doesn't replace the HTC slider but I'm betting it does guess I should check the file first.

Youtube player is broken on my device. Any one else? It says "loading video" then "There was a problem while playing."

Got it. Only get that error with WiFi enabled....Stupid.

OMJ can you implement a type of upgrade procedure depending on what ROM you are on. like for instance if you are on 1.7 the you can udate the files to the latest and greateast but if you want to geta deodex rom then that will require a flash of the new system..... just taught cause you might already have something like that in the works. I am glad you are one of he chef that keep up withthe ROM Manager updates that tying to implement your own system.

yeah I was thinking about something like that, but haven't really looked into it....regardless if u flash the entire /system or partial, we're talking about a time saving of what, 30 secs, maybe a minute? I'll look into it.

Come to think of it, I sent a couple videos that were recieved when my phone was stock too.

OMJ I updated your Sapphire ROM to include the Color Menus I assume your next version will have them? I also swapped out the slider while I had the com.htc.resources.apk extracted. Thanks.

can someone point me to a working dowload of 1.8 (Deodex) as I am on 1.9 Sapphire and want to go back to 1.8 and then load Konikub's Evo Elite onto it...thanks again for the great work on these ROM's..
