PPCGeeks - [FINAL] OMJ's HTC EVO 2.2 Custom ROM v4.6 | FroYo 3.70.651.1

Okay, one point of note. I had 1.6 and Sync Facebook Contacts worked fine. Yesterday I did the quick upgrade to 1.7 and then installed 1.8 Deodexed and now my Facebook contacts will not sync. When I select a contact I know is on my Facebook and try to link it it says No Matches Found.

Yeah had the same problem when I was switching from the regular v1.8 to the v1.8 Deodexed. Restored nand back up and everything worked just fine. Buddy at work flashed v1.8 Deodexed and is having the same issue still.](*,)

Need to flash to Deodexed, I want the battery percent indicator in the stock battery icon. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=729488 the one built for fresh, works in OMJ's Rom.

Getting my new EVO tomorrow should I use Unrevoked or Toast methods? My understanding is the Toast method turns back the PRI were Unrevoked doesn't.

I recommend using toast method. Learn the step the correct way so that way you will learn how to fix it when you screw it up. lol personal experiences with rooting.

I already have my current EVO rooted using Toast method. So I already feel confident in my rooting knowledge. I just wonder if using the Unrevoked method is better because it maintains the PRI. I can always go back and use the Toast method. My understanding is you cannot update the PRI using Toasts method of root. Is anyone using Unrevoked and OMJ's ROM?

What's not true? With Toast & Simple Root you roll back to 1.34_003 PRI. And it appears you can't update (as zone23 stated) The stock (and newest) is 1.40_003
