Google Maps is a requirement of the Manila 2.5 (i'm pretty sure) due to it's location services. That package you are referring to that you left out is an additional package left over from earlier roms/builds. That's why you didn't select it but Google Maps was still in your rom.

If you look in EXT\Shared\013_HTCSense_1920_Common you will find the GPS_GMM_3... package that is in your rom

Each ROM I make has graphical errors... the entire HTC Sense is placed too low, to there is a bit of background visible at the top and the bottom of the tabs are cut off. the start, phone and menu buttons at the bottom look like they have errors

I dont edit too much. So, I load your template (the lastest sys) . add or remove whatever apps I want, save it as my rom, and then click Create rom and flash it??
or am I doing it wrong

quick question can i just take the peoplemsg client just released on xda and just drop it into this kitchen and it'll work?? or is it ported just for gsm? i'm tryin to cook my own 21055 6.1 version

wonderful i've made a 21055 6.1 rom with all the new fixes i'm gonna post it tonight with screen shots and everythin, since there is no new 6.1 rom on here yet i hope i won't be contributin what is not needed thanks everyone

OMJ,

I went ahead and grabbed the PeopleMsgClassic ver. 1.02 from over @ xda and put it in the kitchen in the tweaks section... just want to make sure that all I need to do is enable this and disable HTCMessaging_Client_1_1_19203223_00.

Is there anything else I need to disable in all those Sense packages? Like this maybe? HTCMessage_1_00_281_0

I have the enatives showcase installed but I dont know how to bring it up. The regular task manager just comes up

If you didn't catch it, Kisja posted this for ya after your last post over @ xda.

"NO! THE BG4ALL PART IS AN ADDITION!!! YOU NEED BOTH PACKAGES!!!
So the app.reg will be parsed from the first package and the second package replaces only the BG4ALL part of it."

Just thought I might help you catch it before you changed/re-uploaded anything in case you didn't check xda first.
