Hi:

Using the latest NK 6.5.5 no compression rom, working great and fast! I only have 1 issue, that has happened to me in some roms, overnight my phone gets stuck and doesn't respond anymore, I have to soft reset it. Its a problem to me 'cause I use my phone as my alarm clock, does anybody know why does this happend? or maybe a fix?

I have had this problem with a few roms. I am currently using a Feb 26th version since I haven't had the time to flash and configure a new rom. After I had first flashed this rom I had this problem for the first few nights, which was very frustrating when you are using it as an alarm, but since then the problem has gone away. This rom has not locked up on me at all since those first few times.... Im not sure what causes this, but if you stick it out the problem might just go away.

I guess because it is built into the rom it will not work with the new version. it says there is a mismatch with CHT, so I installed CHT 1.6.1, then it said that it was a mismatch with the cookie editor, so I reinstalled it too, I tried 5 times, no luck. Won't start.

First OMJ, thanks for the Sense 2.1 ROM. I know 2.5 is the latest and greatest but for some stupid reason I really like 2.1 and I'm not ready to move on up.

I've got one issue though... the Sense Settings tab isn't showing up. Did I just have a bad flash or is the ROM built that way?

You can fix that with a simple reg edit as outlined below.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"Co0kie.HomeVersion"="1.6.1"

Add the part in bold. I think cookie forgot to add that reg to his cab.

Thanks. It actually worked when I tried it one more time.

Still not able to hide the date and alarm settings though. He is updating that app pretty regularly from what I can tell. I bet it will have that option at some point.

Thanks! You give me hope, I read over at xda that it may have to do with poor signal and data turning on to update something, like email or weather, and not being able to connect, I updated my sprint radio to 1.12.34F from 1.11.00F and lets see if it will go away, 'cause old houses here in Puerto Rico are build of reinforced concrete, and I even have problem getting a wifi signal from 1 room to the other.

I've had this problem with every rom. Right now I'm running the latest 6.5 | 21895 | v1.1, but it hasn't happened yet, (it's only been 1 night) but I except it will.

I was late to work more than once because the phone got stuck. I finally bought a cheap alarm clock as a back up.

I noticed that in the latest version, stylus no longer has any effect on the phone (when removed). It doesn't wake up nor unlock. (can't remember if it was working or not in 23541)
