Re: |VICT|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Genesis' (23016) ** || Built Sep 20 ||Manila 2.1

Slight OT question (I'm not sure if it's specific to this ROM or WM 6.5). But maybe someone can answer this since I haven't been able to find anything about it.

I used to use MightyROM 6.1. I would connect to the BT connection in my car with a2dp, with the TF3D Music player, and if my phone was on vibrate it would turn the volume up/on when connected. When I disconnected, it returned to vibrate and would pause the music after the connection was lost (aka I turn my car off.).

Now with this ROM when I connect it does change the volume settings to output audio, but when I shut it off, it changes the volume settings into silent mode and continues playing(it doesn't pause the music). It's not a huge deal, but would this be a registry edit, or specific to WM6.5 Or just EnergyROM? Does anyone know how I can regedit this to change it back to that way?

The default email viewer allowed a better option of wiping from the device, without deleting on my Yahoo account. It just took forever because the device was pretty unresponsive getting to that point.

It seems like he did a good amount of testing on this. I still change it though but get the feeling that in the end the battery levels with be about the same. It's strange though because in theory you would think less polling mean less battery consumption to do the polling but I guess it's not making that big of a difference. I wonder if by changing the polling from 5k to 20k plus is giving us a false reading? I have noticed times when the battery will say 35% and a couple minutes later 23% so I'm not sure if this is why. Anyway, figured it was worth sharing this informative post.

Agreed Riley, and thanks for the follow up post. I'm glad the ROM is working for a lot of people, and as I've stated many times before, I generally am please with his work on these roms. I just haven't been all that thrilled with the past two releases, that's all. Will definitely check back with each new release to see if the stability is truly back, but until then I will respect the thread and not hijack to plug another rom or diss the current release any more than anybody feels I may already have!

Hello its most likely due to the fact about how others have said it might be just a beta testing and is currently working on an official release or.... his only human and doesn't have time at the moment :P I'm leaning more to the official release one tho.

Well, the honeymoon is over. My phone froze in the middle of the night on two consecutive days. No functioning alarm = no go.

psg190: had you run Google Maps during the session prior to the freeze? see my earlier posts: it seems to me like it likes to freeze after running Maps (edit: not _immediately_ after, but some time later in the session). it may be something to do with GPS function rather than Maps proper. I noticed that whatever I tried, I couldn't get any good precision out of Maps' location function, even though it claimed to have found GPS satellites - it was giving me precision of 1000-2000m (with MightyRom I got 20m precision). Seems to be something off there.

Current session I haven't launched Maps at all, and it hasn't hung yet, it survived all night...
