Its not that he doesn't care to fix it, its that, believe it or not, he may be doing other things. You know he has never owned a Diamond, right? We're lucky we even got his May release.

The moral of the story is, be patient. NRG hasn't forgotten about you. He's cooking the new version up as we speak. In the mean time, i'm cooking ROMS and flashing new things, but i know i'll always be coming back to this ROM. End of story.

P.S. - we're not ALL his beta testers. Trust me, we do a lot of testing before one hits the thread.

Or did he post the changelog somewhere? (Does OP have a website like Mighty does?)

I've downloaded the titanium only version twice, and keep getting this error when I try to extract the files:
C:\Downloads\EnergyROM_VICTOR_20091014_Titanium.ra r: CRC failed in DIAMIMG.nbh. The file is corrupt

The 1014 Standard version is working for me. Nice, speedy, and Google Maps works again! Gmail refused to connect until I configured it through the settings page and used the manual path.

I think oct 14 version is still a test version...
first of all, all of the diamond gsm setting is on, like sim card things and such.
second, some touch pro software and setting is on it as well.
it seem to work good, speed better than previous version, he got some new cosmetic changes, u guys can actually see the change log on the touchpro version, it the same...
one thing worries me... my phone is getting insanely hot and battery goes away very fast. i flashed about 6 hours ago with about 80% batt, and now i need to charge it.
anyone else have those issues?

The touch pro IS the Diamond, only it has a keyboard. Aside from the keyboard drivers, & some ram, they are the exact same phone, so thats why it seems like tp stuff is on it. Also, many GSM things such as sim card settings and that crap are built into windows mobile. Also, depending on what i'm doing, i'm getting good battery life and running cool. Turning the backlight down is the first step.

never used this ROM before, but trying 1014, seems pretty good. It did seem to hang after being idle for an hour or so, though. have to see if I can reproduce that.

i've turned down backlight on battery and disabled the 'my location' thing to try and save on battery power. have to see how long it lives tomorrow.

Can anyone tell me if this new 10/14 ROM fixes the calling out issue? aka you can actually dial a number and call out now? That's the only thing I want to know before I waste my evening flashing it...then realizing it doesn't work and then flashing it back to 9/09.
