Yes I tried all the fixes, even the QPST with my correct MSL would not recognize it and the EPST failed everything that sprint tech did.

The Sprint tech was really good and knew his stuff, but even he said I have to go to the sprint store and basically blank out the phone and program a new MSL to the phone.

I understand and accept the risks of flashing custom ROMs.
Energy ROMs are amazing and to me worth the risks to enhance my mobile phone experence!!

I might be getting a Touch Pro 2 or a Windows 7 phone soon, so I probably wont be on the Diamond forum.
Here is a Big Thanks to NRG for supporting the Diamond and I am grateful! Keep up the VGA greatness my friend..

I will be donating again soon because I love this ROM so much!!!

Yes I did decide to get a new phone, the Touch Pro 2.
Man this Touch Pro 2 is slick and a big enough screen to actually browse the web and it not be annoying like the Smaller Diamond. I know I will update to a Win 7 phone when it comes out.

I wonder if you will be able to flash a Win7 NRG Rom to the Touch Pro 2??

Same thing happened to me. I tried restoring old DATA preferences (##3282# -> Menu -> Restore) but no luck. In the end I flashed back to the stock shipped ROM (Sprint in my case) and dialed ##786# and hit restore. It completely wipes your phone clean (hard reset) and restores old carrier settings. When it was complete, I used Update Profile and reset my phone one last time. Worked like a charm.

I doubt you will be able to flash a TP2 to a TRUE Windows Phone 7 ROM, but you never know. Probably would be too buggy IMO.

Also, I found that the Carrier Provisioning cabs in the Energy ROMs do not work for me, so I used dcd's Sprint carrier cab.

You all need to do the STOCK ROM, provision phone, then load this ROM, delete carrier provisioning because you won't need it. I used htcRIE and got rid of all of that. My phone after flashing to ROM didn't need provisioning. I only go to connections, create my connection, add modem, dial #777 and after that I connect, then checkmark SAVE PASSWORD and then CONNECT and I'm done. Never have to mess with it again.

WP7 requires snapdragon (1ghz), TP2 has 1/2 the power... (at 528mhz)

Ok so As I am a Fuze user GSM...I do not know really anything about CDMA devices. I have two diamonds CDMAs. I flashed both with sense 2.1 lastest energyrom..I set provisioning for sprint on both...then I called sprint to activate phones...the codes that they gave didn't work...I have read that I can flash stock rom, provision, flash energy again...is this the only way to fix the problem...or can I just use that dcd sprint profile updater cab with the already flashed phones??? I am trying to find the easiest way to activate the phones considering they were not provisioned with stock rom, they are already flashed, and I want to activate them on the Sprint network..I am familiar with energyroms from my ATT Fuze. Also if the dcd sprint cab is the way to fix it can someone supply me with the cab??

You need flash back to shipped,get them activated,and only after that can runn custom roms like energy...

Latest version of the NRG Cookie Aug ROM doesn't have FM Radio.
I tried to install a version I found, but it seems to lockup on startup.
Is there another version of FM Radio that works on NRG ROM?
