Updated post 4. Pay particular attention to question 21. This may help some of you that want to free up memory which is required for the 2.5 rom. Thanks to Mystery of course for the widgets tip!

is there a fix for sending text messages? cause thats the only thing from making this ROM useable, other than that, i love this ROM.

The newest 2.5 release has a send button now, so far everything is working fine. I deleted widgets, etc to free up space. This is a fantastic update, I really appreciate everything you have done NRG.

Why are there so many problems for the diamond? He has posted 2.5ROM for TP and its working perferctly for them.

Is there still a 2.5 lite version? I only see one now that is 136.3MB which is dated yesterday. Thats the only 2.5 that I see. Thanks

Loaded this latest release this morning and so far I have everything working including GPS and text messaging. I would still prefer to see a lite version though.

Because you guys have more ROM space.

But yeah, this ROM is kickass after deleting stuff. I've been rollin for a day, still have 20mb left free

BTW, I don't know if NRG will mind, but if you guys want, I can upload my "lite" version of his latest release. It has no opera, updated google maps, no widgets, no beejive talk, no jbed, no facebook app, deleted most ringtones/alerts. You get around 40mb of free space after flashing.
As stated, after installing all my apps (galarm, myphone, opera 9.5, s2u2, midomi) I still have 20mb of space.
