It looks great but there are limitations to our devices. if it could be done here, it would be done especially with the talent we have in cdma chef land.

Just FYI I was goofing around with the different keyboards, trying the Block Recognizer, Letter Recognizer, etc, and once I went back to the normal Touch Input, it became so laggy it was completely unusable. I mean 2 or 3 minutes to type a 5 letter word. No amount of tweaking or soft resets seemed to fix it so I had to hard reset. Just a warning out there to others not to goof around with the other keyboards...

See the touch pro guys over there get it already. I want to see the 2.5 manila get introduced to the CDMA diamonds. I just wish they would hurry up and cook us up a ROM! I would pay to get something very nice and stable.

I was having the same keyboard issues that everyone here is having so I decided to try out some alternative keyboards. In my search for more keyboards, I came across TouchPal (http://www.cootek.com/) which works fabulously on the Diamond. It's a little weird to get used to at first but once you do, the speed of typing is awesome. This is hands down the best keyboard I have ever used on a touchscreen device. And, of course, the annoying keyboard glitches (the worst for me seemed to be text messages) are gone. It is what the Diamond keyboard should have been in the first place.
