Re: |VICT|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Warhawk' (23016) ** || Built Aug 11 || w Manila

Does anyone know how to remove the compact QWERTY cab? I added it onto my phone and there's a glitch to where the icons show up when I press the home key. It's annoying and I want to get rid of the compact QWERTY.

Another thing I noticed is the clock stops halfway.

There are lots of things I love about this cab and thanks a lot for it!

Oh also one more thing on the left where it says action and the right it says contacts, can I change the right button there in any way to get to my phone? It's hard to get to my phone with this cab as well .

Thanks,
Garrett

to remove the compact querty cab you installed, go to Start>Settings>System>Remove programs and find the cab listed and remove it. I have not noticed the clock stopping. Regarding the action screen, NRG would have to chime in on that. good luck. also be sure to check out post 4 on the first page which can give you tips on how to install keyboards properly and other things that might be helpful.

There's nothing wrong with the alarm in the old version (and I'm 99% sure shouldn't be in this one). You have to go and change some settings that were described earlier. Here is how I have mine and the alarm sounds just fine:

Start-->Settings-->Sounds and Notifications

1. I have "Events" unchecked
2. I have "Programs" checked and under it I have "Notifications" checked

Secondly, on your alarm page, click on the bell to the right. You have to select a sound for it as the default is to no sound.

This should get your alarm working.

I've tried that and the cab is not listed. I've looked up further on it and I believe it was made to be uninstallable unless a hard reset is made Oh well.

The clock stops about halfway and get caught up, not a big deal!

Thanks for all of the help, I just want to get things done a tiny bit quicker!

Are you using any locking software? I have always gotten best mileage in 6.5 by not letting locking software take over when the phone rings. Slide to answer is secure enough.

I have searched and can not find how to disable the screen from blacking out when making a call. Does anybody know where the registry setting is?
