Re: CDMA Diamond Radios
Used the new Alltell radio for a couple of days. Flashing back to Telus 1.0.4.05 now. Can't really report on battery life, since I tethered a lot yesterday, but it might have been a bit worse for me. Big problem for me was considerably worse reception in areas that are spotty for me resulting in dropped calls or lots of breaking up.

Re: CDMA Diamond Radios
Will the Cellular South 1.12.31F (update Touch Pro) that's on the first page work on the diamond? Just making sure.
Edit: Nevermind, I just found the ported version a couple pages back. Flashed and working. I'll advise if there's a significant difference from the 1.03.12f (shipped)

Re: CDMA Diamond Radios
Forgot to mention the heat. I would agree with you. I did notice that my phone never seemed to get hot with that radio.

Re: CDMA Diamond Radios
alltel 1.12 doesnt work out well for me at all. the phone is hot and drop calls were quite often.
i went back to alltel 1.03 and phone runs cooler and much less drop call. although it takes a couple of seconds for phone to connect when you try to make a call. i have 2 diamonds, i'm going to try the new csouth radio and will report back. btw, i'm in san jose, ca. |
