Trying to use my old oem with this kitchen crashes platformrebuilder.exe during the build process. Anyone else try rhodium manila and have this issue?
I'll have to cook up a Rhodium Manila ROM sometime... I've been manila-free for quite awhile now. The way this kitchen handles duplicate files is different than the BuildOS kitchen, maybe it's having an issue with all the app.dat renames.

A repository is a great idea! That way we only update what we need. Some will need a guide how to use it though, but in the end, it'll save everyone time.

i may be mistaken, but i found it easiest to add OEM packages directly from the kitchen.

right clicking in a certain area will give you the option to add a package to that area by selecting the OEM. seemed to work pretty well for the extra OEMs i was adding

That is one way of doing it... I've been using the Ext_Packages_Rebuilder.exe to rebuild BuildOS OEMs to the Ext Packages.

I'll do some testing to see if the .svn or _svn files cause any problems. SVN commands can easily be put into Batch scripts for people to do pulls/updates. I use TortoiseSVN at work quite a bit along with VBScripts directly calling svn.exe for working with Repositories. It's not too hard to simplify things down to a button-click in a .hta file.

I was thinking about this earlier... the Manila folder may have to be named differently so that they load in the correct order... you wouldn't want to overwrite a customization with something from one of the base folders. If you can, watch the output and check that things load in the correct order. I think it just does things from the folder alphabetically... so the Manila Engines should probably be names 1-Manila Engines... and then the themes, clocks, and finally the options.

I'm attaching a kitchen_build_rom.bat file that will output to a build_log.txt file rather than trying to see everything as it scrolls too fast in the console window.

Re: ervius Kitchen 7.9 for CDMA Diamond - SYS 21502 & 21222

Well been playin with this kitchen and have made a couple of stable (usable for day to day use) ROM's (all 6.5 no manilla) and first off Thanks! This took a little to learn but is very well rounded.
My only prob seems to be battery life, fully charged last night, I set it on my night stand and woke up this am to a totally dead battery. Have tried deselecting the 1% rapid charge, but it wont let me. Should I import the OEM Battery?
