Install your items manually to find out which ones you want to keep, and which ones don't work on the new rom. Only set up an autoinstall once you find a rom you want to stick with.

Rom hopping is fine... I used to do it a bit myself... it's fun to try them all out... however, lump installing all the same stuff on every rom you try and expecting it to all work is a party foul.

I was busy setting up my email and such, but I did uninstall the Weather Database cab and the Weather tab is functioning normally now.

Anybody have an updated Weather Database cab that they know works on BB 2.8?

It's already on the rom. Did you search for your city already? Is it US?

Lakeland, FL. I don't see it listed when I choose "Add Location" on the Weather tab.

It was never listed in the Weather Database Editor in the past. I had to manually create it: NAM|US|FL|LAKELAND

I have updated the first post with the download link for version 2.9.

The sys has been updated to 21725. Thanks to Indagroove for the sys. It is working quite well and I like it better than 21234, which I had some glitchy problems with.

I do have MyPhone working, but I don't have Messenger fixed yet. It will be fixed as soon as I can.

I did have to flash back to shipped while testing this version, but that does not indicate, in any way, that you will have to... just don't forget that if you are having weirdness that you probably should. Instructions are in the FAQ.

Lurkers... leave me some feedback please... the more specific the better. I always like to hear that you dig the rom, but tell me also what you like, so that I can use your feedback for ideas for future versions.

I even typed it in the search field and the only "Lake..." that appears is Lakewood, CO



It's no biggie. I'll probably be flashing to 2.9 fairly soon anyway. I'll try it again then.

Dude... click "add city", click on "F" on the letter slider, click on "Florida", scroll down to "L", click on "Lakeland, F".

Thanx BB for your continuous hard work to improve this Diamond.

I've downloaded 2.9 but not getting 30min spare time to flash it in office ... Lol. Definitely we will update you it's performance as well as suggestion.
