One of the things that irk me most about Rhodium IS the Calendar. In what way do you use the calendar?

I'm asking because, in all Rhodium versions, the Calendar actually doesn't allow you to select or use the bottom most appointments (unless they are on the Home screen of TF3D2.)

It works well I suppose if you have 3 or less appointments on a day. But I can have as many as 10 or more and it simly does not work with Rhodium calendar.

My other main beef is the People tab and the same number across all quicklinks. (like Mobile, Home, Text, etc use same number rather than contact's actual different numbers)

Those are things I use every day and I wonder what people actually use when they say things like Rhodium is perfect, best ROM ever.

(not trying to attack, little bit of a rant, not aimed at you or the cook or any cook, everyone uses the phone differently, to some maybe it is perfect)

Using Bonz 1.9 and SPB Mobile Shell 3, I've found my phone to work REALLY well. SPBMS3 is really really functional. There's a few things that don't work like the Envelope after taking a picture. But all in all, performance is great, productivity is good, battery is good.

I know RSTG has a ROM semi focused on MS3, but I'd really like to see others try some builds with it.

Sorry to get off topic a bit. Good Work Bonz!

Good feedback, thanks!

What I am trying to do with the rom now is give people, like you, who don't like the Rhodium interface, some new options. I have made it super easy and visually seamless (or tried anyway) to go between Rhodium and Titanium on this rom.

Try it out and let me know what you think!

Re: 5-02-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-0 [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 21501]

The reason I like the Rhodium Calendar so much is because the Rhodium TF3D tends to handle more of the tasks before they're actually handed over to Windows Mobile. Being able to have a calendar on the TF3D scroller that is actually interactive, takes away having to click on the TF3D Home Screen Appointments..When there is a calendar visible that shows an Arrow on the days that I have appointments..

It also replaces a paid-for program - Thumcal. I loved thumbcal, but now it's one less program that I have to install to memory.

I remember when Rhodium was first coming out (after people previewing the Diamond 2), people were drooling over the calendar and only wanted that...now I see why.

Exactly. Now everybody can be happy with this ROM. Time for other ROM users to convert to Bear Bonz!

Thanks! I appreciate it.

Unfortunately, Titanium isn't really an improvement over TF3D, imo. It has it's own set of problems as well. Too much scrolling and flicking.

WinMo's 6.5 Start Menu also, not sure what the advantage is over the old one. The 6.5 Start has seemingly random program listings that make it difficult to find your program. If it were more customizable or alphabetical, might be a bit more useful. Or had a recently used program list.

Touch is good, but it doesn't seem there are many people who make Touch interface's effecient and productive. They make them gimmicky and mistake prone.

(Sorry Bonz, must be rant night for me, really long day, I'm tired!)

quick question guys. do you need to change the timezone back one hour & turn off auto update timezones on the 6.5 rom? I assume so if you are using rhodium and titanium but not sure. Thanks

I agree with those points. And I like Rhodium's concept for those reasons. Keeping you in the TF3D interface, keep it consistent scrolling and interface. When Rhodium gets a bug free port, I'm all over it. Unfortunately, for me, there's critcal areas that are broken that don't allow me to use my phone the way I need to.

The potential is there, we'll (ok, evidently just me) just have to be patient.

Have you tried the included Titanium home screen editing tools on the rom? You can reduce the number of items on the home screen so that scrolling is not necessary and you only have the stuff that you want.

The new 6.5 start menu is completely customizable and I have put instructions for backing up your icon placement in my FAQ on the front page.

If you really like Mobile Shell 3, though, that's great! This probably isn't the best rom for you, IMO, but I appreciate you giving your feedback!

Re: 5-02-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-0 [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 21501]

Honestly, though, Rhodium has never been as stable EVER as it has been on top of this ROM. I know Xbmod has reworked it over and over.. I've never had RHODIUM Crash yet on Bear Bonz Rom.. Crazy, i know. Because when I ran Rhodium on other roms, it would constantly reset on me, intermittently.

The square thing/flickers.. like it's been mentioned before - wait a few seconds - its loading.

Honestly, I've tried a lot of ROMS, and this is the smoothest for me yet.

The way I look at it, he knows the what organic (bug free) ingredients to place into a rom, so that it doesn't topple over. I believe this is the ROM to take over for the Mighty Rom.

I'm sure many will agree the more they use it.
