Re: 5-02-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-0 [Rhodium 6.5 21501]

Well Bonz seems like you did it again! Great ROM. Liking the 6.5 features, tried titanium and it just wasn't as good as Manila. Seems fast so far, no memory leaks yet. Nice raining day cook-out. lol You got my top chef vote bro!

Sweet... good to hear. I also prefer manila still... but I like that the rom has both options without too much of a hit on main storage. The 6.5 homescreen is probably the area I need to spend the most time on at this point because I spent most of the time trying to get the manila setup as "right" as I could on this version.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback... keep it coming guys.

Re: 5-02-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-0 [Rhodium 6.5 21501]

hey bonz.... this is my review so far... Again great rom.... there are obviously a few cosmetic color things to change but I think you know that already....

I do think that the oem 3d3 driver works way better with this rom... So I ran that faster 3d graphics cab... and it seemed to smooth 6.5 up a lot for me....

the other suggestion or reg edit I think would be cool would be to link the left soft key to the win. 6.5 lock button to make the phone use the win 6.5 s2a... If you don't want to cook this in would you happen to know the registry edit for this I would really like to try this out!!!!.... Thanks BONZ

Hmm... interesting. I have never had much luck with those drivers but I will check it out.

I had thought of that, but that lock does have problems when there is an incoming call, as I mentioned in the FAQ, so we probably need to stay away from that until I can work with it a bit more. I recommend using whatever locking software or method you have used in the past for now.

Yeah, it's the Opera plugin but it currently has some problems, unfortunately (the weather one does too). Should be better in the next version.

I am curious to hear from someone who is using the Titanium as their primary homescreen instead of manila.

Has anyone read or figured out how to get the transparent top taskbar and bottom soft key bar to work with TF3D?
