Re: 5-17-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-7 [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 21232]

Hey bonz...flashed 2.7 last night...all is working great. Backlight seems to work a lot better. I didn't get sashimi running yet still watching the tutorials to get a handle on how it works.

I have been using titanium, just not a very big fan of touch flo. Anyways, i saw on this rom that there were a couple programs for modifying titanium: "chome editor" and "titanium customizer". I don't venture much outside of the diamond forums but found the following thread under pocket pc software->titanium tweaks with a good description of each program. You had put a couple of software descriptions in your FAQ thought this link would be beneficial as well.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=63086

Anyways, great rom...really enjoying it. thnx!!!

I think there are cabs floating around for this. Search a bit and you should be able to find one.

thanks to the Groove man, here it is: I just did this so it was fresh on the mind

Go here for a cab that will restore the start menu to three columns instead of four:

For battery purposes... do you guys think playing music over the regular player would be more efficient then over kinoma if I was just playing my own music files??

Kinoma is really sweet though.. wish I had a data plan lol instead of having to use wifi for it

You mean playing them locally vs. streaming them over Orb? Yes, streaming them will be harder on your battery.

Re: 5-17-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-7 [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 21232]

sorry I wrote that question a little weird.. I meant playing the music straight from the touch flo music player vs kinoma... would kinoma drain battery faster?

Also I read that WMP was crashing and it did for me as well today in the gym. I tried kinoma and just playing my files when I turn the back light off (pushing the power button) it also played for a little then crashed. Both times the phone locked up and needed a soft reset. The only thing that would work is playing the music from the touch flo 3d music player!

Not sure if its been addressed just thought I would throw that out there!

By the way I am loving this rom and the little things you put into it! I was on Mighty Rom but with all the fun gadgets and wifi working extremely well your ROM is my top choice!!

Oh... sorry I misunderstood. No, there will be no difference in battery drain between players, as far as I know.

Make sure you are not running the audiopara cab, this will cause the device freezing when playing media, according to reports from multiple users.
