Its only an issue with Rhodium, unfortunatly I accidentaly click the clock all the time when I try to scroll up and see the rest of my appointments for the day. I've been using a CAB that disables the world clock, when you press the clock you instead sends you to the call history list. It also still has a tab for the alarm settings. With that cab installed I've never had an issue with any of my sync'ed appointments or anything else clock related. If anyone is interested I will post it but I'm almost positive I grabbed it off this thread somewere.

Nice work around! SSMaHO which is included in the ROM allows changing of TouchFlo links. I haven't used it, but I imagine you could use it instead of the cab. I may have to look into this later (cause really I should be wasting time trying to fix a problem I don't have.)

Attached the cab. Wish I could give credit to the creator but I cant for the life of me remember were I snagged it from. It was either here, INTX rom thread, or more then likely xboxmods original Rhodium thread. Install it to device, not the internal storage. It will require a soft reset after install.

On another note, previous to this V2.7 rom I had V2.5. When I installed V2.5 I went back to the shipped rom as I was having random reset issues. Everything seems to be ok now, my question is between rom updates should I flash, let the cosumizations run, then do a clear storage/hard reset or should it be ok after one flash? Seems like I'm flashing everyday thanks to Bonz, just want to make sure its done correctly, didnt see anything about this in the FAQ.
Bonz thanks & keep it up! =D>

I have preconfigured G-Light for you and it is already running as soon as you flash.

Your flash procedure depends on preference and problems experienced. I pretty much always flash to shipped, clear and format storage, and then flash to the new rom. However I have often flashed directly to a new ROM with no problems whatsoever. I like to make sure I am getting the true ROM experience and know that any bugs are ROM related not a flash issue. But as a result it takes me more time to flash. Below is the FAQ answer from Drybonz:

A: Here's what you do:
1) Go here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36062 and download the shipped rom for your carrier in the first post... not the stock rom, the shipped rom.
2) Flash the shipped rom.
3) After it boots, flash back to your preferred radio, as the shipped rom will restore the default radio, and update to your preferred PRL.
4) Hard reset by shutting down your device, pull your battery for 10 seconds, then hold in vol down, then the center button, then power, then wait for the white screen and follow the instructions.
5) After it boots you can then you can flash back to the custom rom of your choice.

Q: Dang... that sounds like a pain! Am I gonna have to do it each time I flash?
A: I don't see any reason to do it unless you are getting the weird problems. I have only needed to do it maybe about 5 times ever and I flash like a fiend.

No I haven't changed the default on the time sync, it's the same.

One cool trick you can do too is to set SSMAHO to disable the clock press so you don't accedentally press it. You can do this by mapping it to a dummy .exe that has no function. Kind of a neat trick.

That's because you installed a taskbar customization or theme that broke some stuff.

We actually just discussed about how this cab you are referring to breaks other stuff, so no, please don't circulate it in this thread. Either use the method for the world clock fix listed in the FAQ or try the SSMAHO trick I mentioned. SSMAHO is technically more complicated trick. See here for any quesions you have about how to do this.
