Re: 5-17-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-7 [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 21232]

Guys, I try to spend a lot of time responding to comments and questions in this thread.

The number of repeat questions and bad information that is getting circulated because people have not read the thread is getting ridiculous.

All I ask is that, when you log on the site, read the last couple pages of the thread since the last time you were here. It's not that hard to do and it really, really helps me out.

Thanks a bunch everyone.

Seems like I'm flashing everyday thanks to Bonz, just want to make sure its done correctly, didnt see anything about this in the FAQ.
The procedure in the FAQ is pretty specific. Just do that and you will be fine.

I try to answer questions in this thread so that you don't have to. If my answers are not helping I will stop trying.

I really appreciate how responsive you are to comments and questions in this thread. I believe it is indication of how you are able to get such a well designed ROM. Thanks for all your help.

I really appreciate everybody helping each other out. It's awesome!

If people really want to help each other out though, everyone needs to be informed and read the thread. That is also a way to help out.

I've heard some pretty great things about this rom floating around the forum here. I see Reef switch from Mighty Rom to here and have heard your 6.5 stability is impecible.

I was wondering if you had considered doing an all carrier generic version (Without sprint tv etc., nfl mobile, etc.)

Also if perhaps you would consider going back to the original old school super fast manila (with the touchpro landscape page on rotate screen...)

Sprint TV is not installed on this ROM (although I think the cab is in there.) Nor is nfl mobile live, sprint nav, or any of the sprint bloatware.

Check out the changelog and faqs.

sorry about that. I should have read the motha f***in thread before I motha f***in posted. (see the graphic in the faq)

haha.

I guess my only question after that is, why not roll the classic stable manila with hd people and weather tabs to go with your ultra stable 6.5 OS I keep hearing about.

I plan to stick with the Rhodium manila because I like some of the features. I'm actually not having too much trouble with it. I don't really feel the need to roll back.

As for making a generic carrier rom, I'm sorry... I don't have any plans to do this, or to maintain more than one version of the rom for any reason.

Sorry about that.

Re: 5-17-09 ~~Bear-Bonz Rom~~ Version 2-7 [Rhodium/Titanium - 6.5 - 21232]

DB,

Here is the dialer skin.

For those that would like to use it now, I've attached a CAB. I could also use some advice, as this is the first time I've skinned a dialer, so please let me know if I missed anything.

One thing I did notice, is that it looks like the top of the S2A caller id picture is getting sliced off (not pictured to protect my wife's privacy). And it seems like the number display when you are entering a number to dial gets sliced off at the top as well. Could this be my font doing that?

Hey, that looks nice.

The top of the black s2a caller id picture has always been missing that top white line. I could never find a version that didn't do that. The number display has never had problems, that I know of, so it could be a font issue.
