I posted previously about an issue with my dialer/in-call screen disappearing when my call connects. I really need a fix for this and if anyone can advise, I greatly appreciate it.

I don't know if this will be helpful, but I had that too on my first build of 4.4. I added in-call recording with the slide to answer dialer and don't have the problem anymore. Maybe it was just the regular dialer that was causing me problem.

I've only used the black slide dialers and haven't had this problem.

Hurm... seems like I have been having a lot of little issues on the recent sys's that other people aren't having. I think the last sys that was super solid for me was 20954.

no problems with the black slide to answer with no curtain for me either.

edit: the only problem i had with 4.4 was after a few txt msgs it would suddenly stop ringing and vibrating when id recieve a new txt. a soft reset always fixed it.
