i finally did a complete wipe of my device using Clear Storage (after backing up of couse ) and then hard reset again. all sluggishness is gone, and volume keys are working fine... not sure what the issue was but it's cleared out now. not a single issue with 4.4 b3 at this point.

Well here's a release candidate, so hopefully everything works fine now so I can make it official. This one includes Opera 15954 also, autorotation now works on most common apps(can be enabled in System Tools), landscape keyboard has the arrows removed & a couple of other fixes. I also removed the HD manila from the ROMs for the time being as they are not working correctly 100% of the time, so now it's back to the landscape manilas
