Question to people who have used this rom before (Sprint):

Do you need to manually install the tether fix or is that included already? I've been using Mighty's all my Diamond life, which has the fix built in. I am going to flash Calcu's since I need to include some OEMs of my own, but I'd like the peace of mind about tethering. Thanks in advance for your help.

Internet Sharing works without any fix. You just beed to change it to "Sprint" from "Phone as Modem" in the Inetrnet sharing appliaction.

happens to me alllll the time. I usually switch out or add some files in the baseapps system folder and voila. I haven't gotten that far with 4.2 though. I've toyed hours I just to get texting back, my start menu and got rid of the wlmimageupdate error, email can wait lol.

By the way Juicy and MightyROMS work great, I just want to build something a little more custom to my taste.

Flash a stock ROM first then try again as suggested

Add this line to the User Prefs section of the Opera.ini and it will stop doing that or just go into settings and set the start page to use current or user-defined and it will add it automatically. If you just want me to post the Opera.ini with that line added, just let me know and I'll post it

But I have noticed weirdness from Opera. It seems to load the start page, or previous page you had open BEFORE opening your bookmark. Hard to explain. But overall, opening pages seem to be slow. Loading Opera itself seems to be slow.

I definately liked the performance and features of the previous Opera rather than the current one (which I assume is the leaked sprint version??).

I'd like to see Opera reworked or tooled or use a previous version.

Opera is slow starting because I don't cache it, if you want to cache it, add this line to the preload programs rgu

Also I enable RealExit, which closes Opera completely, so if you want to disable that, change this reg key

There was a post a while back explaining how to set the settings but I don't remember which page, so do a search and you should find it

I haven't played with the new camera that much but if it's causing that, try this OEM and see

The tethering fix is there, you just have to change it from phone as modem to Sprint.

Does anyone even use phone as modem anymore? So I can just remove it from the kitchen

I use pam, also with your latest i am getting the no ringer bug after 24 hours/charge

Just to close out my issue: IT WAS LEAVING IE unchecked that caused my messaging issues! All is back to normal and perfect once again with my device since i reflashed with BOTH IE boxes CHECKED... hope this definitively helps anyone having that issue.
