Re: [ Jan 3 \ OS 5.2.21109 v4.0 Preview ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.3, ROMs & Cabs

Well just loaded up the 4.0 preview and everything seems just a little faster and smoother than 3.8. Everything seems to be working for me (Opera, youtube etc...) and not sure what "SSMaPa" is so I must not use it (noob, I know ).

Thanks again Calcu! You rock

I just figured that out as well... I give up still though. Way too spoiled with buttons and a keyboard... most especially a flash for the camera. Everything about my old broken mogul feels... right.

Using 4.0 sprint base rom, gone from full charge to 20% in 2 hours. Something is draining my bat, no idea what though. I was messing around with gps for a few mins (15). Turned the phone off then on a bit later and saw my battery had dropped a lot just sitting there.

This is not that unusual after an initial flash. Recharge and give it a little time, I would bet your battery life improves.

Re: [ Jan 3 \ OS 5.2.21109 v4.0 Preview ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.3, ROMs & Cabs

I built a rom earlier and loaded it to my phone and heres what im getting so far, could be something I did but I changed nothing that wasn't there.

Volume buttons don't work they just scroll now
Top bar in unresponsive when tapping the volume icon
Battery life shows around 16-14% in the top bar (I chose the 1% int the kitchen)even though my battery is in the 90% range

Other than those 3 minor things this rom is quick as hell it seems, based on how fast programs and menus open up.

Thanks Calcu

Re: [ Jan 3 \ OS 5.2.21109 v4.0 Preview ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.3, ROMs & Cabs

just want to start off saying the rom is amazing, very fast. the only thing i cannot figure out, must be having an off day, but the ability to "mark all as read" in email is not there. i built the rom off the new kitchen, selected the outlook plugin, am i doing something wrong?

edit: nevermind i found the inbox extender cab, that did the trick
