I buit the new ROM with 3.8 and everything is working great except the Long Press End Key. When I change it ot any of the options, it doesn't do anything. I have built this rom the same as the last and loaded the same programs as I did before ... when it worked. Is there a reg edit I can do or check to get this to work without starting all over?

My oldest kid and husband have a bet that I can't leave my phone alone for 3 days. They say if they see the bootloader screen again they will get me a Rant or Lotus.

help. (if I have to flash again I will do it at work!

Okay, i've re-downloaded and rebuilt 3.8. All i did was add my TomTom7 OEM, and select / deselect a couple of items. For some reason, i'm still not seeing the Update Profile option in settings.

Any thoughts as to what would have affected this install? I made a couple edits to the Sprint Carrier folder (operator_config) and initialflash files to get Sprint TV and PictureMail to install automatically, but otherwise, i don't know where this setting would be.

It had to be something in the carrier folder. When I first started building with this kitchen I screwed with something and the customizations wouldn't run right and I didn't get the Update Profile or PRL. Check your carrier folder again.

I guess i just don't know what it is that would have affected the Profile install. I'll check again and see if i find anything.

UPDATE: I checked every file in that folder, and nothing appears to be off. Literally the only things i changed were in the operator_config, and deleting the Arcsoft MMS CAb along with the shortcuts and initialflash file.

I can't even find the reference to where the update profile should be installed. It's not a huge deal...as i don't really need it. But was curious about where it is hiding.

Actually the problem is PHM Registry Editor, if you use that, it takes the place of Update Profile but I already fixed that in my kitchen but if you want to fix it in yours, just open the PHM rgu and delete the last lines that say control panel in them

guess if i get time this afternoon i'll redownload and start from scratch...

i believe my update profile was missing on my troublesome rom also, the PRL update was there though.

Ok, for v3.9, I redid the OEMDrivers folder again but this time like I did the Touch Pro kitchen, I also redid the xip and fixed some OEM issues, so hopefully now, it is more stable than the last couple of kitchens

I updated my radio to the new touch pro one on sprint. I reinstalled 3.8 base sprint + extras. Same problem as before. I installed nothing. Left my phone sitting for a while. I wanted to check something and vuala! all my programs are missing from the start menu. They have the Generic icon on the programs folder I can't open anything. After reset the phone does a hard reset.

Try 3.9, if it still does it, I would suggest you flash to a OEM or another ROM because it looks like something is not clearing out when you are flashing. I've had this happen once and once I flashed a different xip and then flashed back, I've never had that issue again

Since I flashed to 3.8 I can't change my TF3D to other languages like Spanish or French. Every word becomes IDS_something . Have u removed the multilanguage support in TF3D Config?

EDIT: After flashing to test 3.9 the multilanguage works fine in TF3D.

Is that 3.9 version stable enough or should I wait until you officially release it to reconfigure and customize my device?
