In this latest kitchen, picture mail, SprintTV and the MMS CABs are loaded with shortcuts in windows so you can install them on your own later. I have these CABs on my internal storage, so I just want to have them NOT intall into windows.

Also, is there a benefit to intalling them as CABs after the rom as opposed to just intalling them as OEMs within the rom?

To delete the cabs & shortcuts, then just delete them and the initial flashes file, don't delete anything in the config_operator file as things will not work if you do so, like battery icon, update profile, etc

Is there a simple of way of just having picturemail and sprint TV install automatically?

I'd like to just include them in the ROM install, or at least the customization. I can put them in my SDConfig as meatgel mentioned, but i'm afraid i'm not sure what you're referring to when you say just "delete them and the initial flashes file".

I'd like to clean this up as well rather than have them in two locations.

If you want to install cabs during autorun, just add lines to the config_operator file like

CAB: \Windows\cab name.cab

And just delete the initial flash file and the shortcuts but leave the cabs obviously

Has anyone noticed when you go to the messages tab and click the menu button (bottom right) the menu button doesn't work?

Can this be fixed, I'd like to have that menu working so I can just select "reply" from there instead of having to open the message and click another menu button.

Forgive me for being retarded or ignorant. But where does one find the config_operator file and the initial flash files you refer to?

The extend of my knowledge on cooking revolved around making an OEM and changing the selections in buildos. I've played with provision files and UC files, but am still learning the ROM process.
