Re: [ 9-12 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Nobody else is having issues with the Calendar tab in Manila 2.1?

The main tab won't even show my appointments, and they disappear from the calendar tab a second after it loads.

I've tried different sys builds and removed all of my own EXT packages, but I still get this issue.

How do you get it back to default? Everytime I restart the kitchen, it remembers my previous selections.....

I asked the same question a while ago. Some guys suggested me to flash stock rom. I flashed both Telus and Sprint Rom but problem persisted. It always turns soft reset into a hard one. And yes, it happens for both 6.1 and 6.5. It seems the other ROMs doesn't have this problem. I am currently using EnergyROM but I like Calc's rom better if this problem can be fixed.

The only way to rollback to stock is to replace the packages.txt files back to the original. Once you change a setting and save it, it changes this file for good. So in this case you are going to want to replace packages.txt in \EXT\Diamond\6.5.1\packages.txt (assuming you are using a new build), \EXT\Diamond\Common\packages.txt and \EXT\Shared\packages.txt with the original files in the zip.

As I said though, custom icons can cause trouble with new builds and are enabled by default. And if you do manage to get them working, you will not get the new notification dropdown, it will probably only be the volume control that will show up in the entire bar.

This is strange since most of the time this will fix your problem, That is flashing back to the shippped rom of your specific carrier. Another thing to check out is the internal storage. Look for folders that are created from previous custom roms you are using a delete them. Go into to internal storage>programs folder and delete old folders since you are installing the software on a new rom and should start from a clean slate. A good example of this is the youtube folder which needs to be deleted or you may get errors post flash. the reason is you may be using one rom with a different youtube version.

no problem, regarding the the other question, I didn't mess with the options since it looked like Calcu had it preset already for panoramic. will take a look after lunch and get back to you.

Re: [ 9-12 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Alright i've searched everywhere and everywhere and even asked A-C and he said it was something wrong with the rom. I never had this problem in the past with any other rom. When i use the slide to view option in S2U2 to automatically open my texts the keyboard will open and then collapse leaving me to have to select the text field again. Does anybody know a fix that will allow the keyboard to stay open and have the text field selected ready to type. That is my only problem with this kitchen. I am using regular manila and the nikoan keyboard.
