Digital, I placed the 23060 folder into the SYS folder and tMSXIPKernel into a Shared/23060 folder in the ROM folder. But doesn't there need to be one in Diamond/23060 as well? I feel like it's missing files or else I just am a noob. lol.

ATTENTION EVERYONE. I have actually built a rom with the new 23060. First download and extract the files from digital attics post. Move the folder named 23060 to the sys folder. Move the xip.bin to the rom/touchpro folder. Create a new folder in the rom/shared directory named 23060 and move the remaing file there. Now, rename 23053 in the rom/touchpro directory to 23060 or make a copy and rename it. Now, you will get an error and only create a small file if you run it now. You have to go into the sys folder that you just copied in and delete the metadata folder as calk has it already in the oem. Now run your kitchen and it will produce a wonderful rom.

This is from the TP thread, the same stuff is going on over there.
I was working along these lines but could not get it to work. This will help, sub Diamond where he says TP.

Perhaps so but I don't like to close programs usually unless it's through a Task Manager so it doesn't bother me anyway.

Thanks, I will try that. It is therefore using old 23053 files though, which I was trying to avoid. Hopefully we'll get an updated version.

Exactly. When i close out a program, i want it to actually close.

There will be NO updated 23060... the fix for it is to use gwes.exe from 23053 build.

If you have ever done a SYSVersion against a SYS build before, you'd see that most builds have files and modules from older builds, as some components don't need updating from build to build. Calk simply changes the reported version to be uniform, but there are indeed pieces from older builds in his SYSs too.

That was fixed on the last release, the problem was the opera associations. I posted a cab to fix that a couple of pages back
