Yeah... I think it's going to limit the number of flashes I do from now on though. I just don't have the time to flash three times (new rom, back to stock, back to new rom) each time I flash.

After flashing back to stock, all my instability issues ended. I reflashed another rom with no problems now for several days. I'm awaiting more feedback on this version of Calc's rom before I flash it. I've always been partial to calcu's roms.

I just flashed back to the 3.6 20940 kitchen. It was great, and had longer battery life and less flukey issues than 20954. I think I am gonna stick with it unless I get unexpected issues, and just update my OEMs occasionally.

I've seen this issue several times in testing my Calkulin's-based Blue ROM series. It seems to happen quite randomly, and is addressed by flashing ROMs from other kitchens. I was able to stabilize using OMJ's latest. Now that I've gone back to testing my Calk-based Blue ROMs, the problem is gone.

It's really more of a nuisance than anything else. And if you don't flash really often, you probably won't see it. Anyway, it's worth it to me because the 20954 build is the absolute fastest I've ever seen on a Diamond.

Has anyone had any issues with freezing while charging? I had my phone plugged in over night, and woke up this morning (late, since it was my alarm) and not only had the phone frozen, but when i restarted it, the battery had not fully charged, which means the charging portion of the phone had frozen too at 4:19 this morning.

I know there was a thread a while back about this, but no one seemed to have any answers. Is anyone here experiencing this with Calcu's ROM's?

This just happened to me on 3.8. I disconnected my phone from the charger but, it was still doing the swooshy thing with the dial light. Can't turn it on. Batt fully charged on a reset, though.

It's kind of a long running issue which has caused people to speculate that it is a general problem with the phone and not specific to any one rom.

*edit* I make an effort to charge in the evening and pull the plug before I go to sleep so I can rely on my alarm, for this reason.

*edit* If you soft reset, you "should" see that the battery is actually fully charged.

I did soft reset...and my battery was at 59%. Strange. I'm less concerned with the battery than i am with the phone freezing up. I agree with the try and charge before bed time...but i'm worried if i'm on a trip, etc. I guess i'll make sure i use wake up calls as needed.
