Calkulin, you saved the day with the biotouch.dll! Activesync magically works again.

I don't know if it's related, however, but now the fancy 6.5 kinetic scrolling seems to be gone. It's now just a flat scroll speed with no momentum. Would that be because of this or a different reason?

Thanks again!

Re: [ Aug 15 ] [ 23017 \ 23028 \ 21054 ] [ v5 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

My sound icon beside the battery icon is missing...

I built myseft a rom using the latest kitchen. Everything is great except the sound icon is missing. It shows up during the initial boot up screen but once manilla fully loads it dissappears.

this is my first time building a rom. is there an option i forgot to check in the builder?

i've basically kept it very simple. Windows 6.1, rodium 2.1, oem battery meter, oem taskbar.

Thanks

Re: [ Aug 15 ] [ 23017 \ 23028 \ 21054 ] [ v5 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

Ok so i decided to dive back into rhodium 2.1. I have been much impressed from the original. I have a couple of questions though.

1. How do you change the wallpaper? I have gone to the settings tab and selected wallpaper then found the one i wanted but nothing changes.

2. Is there a fix to have the rhodium messaging box capitalize the first letter of the message and the first letter after ending punctuation marks? Not a huge deal but im used to old manila automatically capitalizing those letters.

Thanks

1: I found that turning off Rhodium in the Today settings and turning it back on applies the wallpaper. After that, it seems to change the wallpaper whenever I decide to change it.

i dont know if your question was answered already, but in order to add a cab to the first boot. in the oem folder go to carrier-sprint (or whatever carrier you have) and find the operator config.txt (or its named something like that). open it up and add your cab to it... example "CAB: \Windows\nameofyourcab.cab" and save it and you are done

Had some weird problems with Opera Mobile 4.7 beta opening up at start up, but I recooked a ROM with 4.5 and I've had no problems so far.

Re: [ Aug 15 ] [ 23017 \ 23028 \ 21054 ] [ v5 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

ANybody know how to edit the kitchen so to make everything not read only and hidden which would allow me to edit the manila files on the fly without having to use total commander. It just makes everything easier especially when updates and fixes are coming out all the time.

Also anybody know how to get the contact card to scroll with WM6.1....i really really really don't want to go to 6.5.

I guess maybe you did forget to cook it in or maybe you can coax it into appearing. There should be an associated System Control Panel applet, which would also indicate that it was or was not included in the cook.

do you by any chance know what that applet might be? i cooked in the task manager, but for some reason that drop down menu never shows up in the upper right hand corner. i haven't cooked a rom in a while (maybe since 23004?), and never had this issue before.
