What happened to the HTC diamond volume control? Does it have issues with 6.5 or something?

Not sure if you are using the rom or the kitchen, but I selected it in the kitchen and it is there just fine.

@Calk: XBoxmod just released a SYS,XIP 21043 from the Topaz (WVGA though) if you are interested. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...14#post3672714

Use the enable phone skin cab in System Tools to use the htc volume control again as it is disabled along with the dialer by default(tweak). Problem is the default dialer has issues with it, so if you want to use it, use the HTC dialer

The only bugger for me is that for my particular IMAP server it only works in 6.5, so I'm stuck trying to find a good 6.5 rom that's only running HD manilla (and not the sweet, impressive, yet slow, buggy Rhodium).

I tried flashing Calk's 6.5 and then cabbing in HD manilla but nothing showed up in my today screen items for TF3D!? I suppose I could cook my own ROM with Calk's great kitchen... but I've never done it and the unknown is my barrier to entry.
Give his newest kitchen a try... with BuildOS and the way the kitchens are setup, the roms pretty much cook themselves, choose your options, hit play, exit when finished, and after that, it pretty much does the rest for you... I think you'd be impressed with the results you see from using the kitchen!

Thanks Calku, I figured it had something to do with the dialer issues.

I'm pretty sure that's because of the HTC Volume control/dialer. The BT icons will not work without the HTC stuff, at least I think I remember reading that somewhere .

Re: [ Apr 21 \ 21501 v4.6.2a ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.6 & ROMs

In my never ending attempt to get any of Calk's kitchens above 4.5 to work I have taken the OEM, ROM and SYS folders from the new 4.6.2a kitchen and copied them to my working 4.5 kitchen. Made my selections and when it got to G'reloc I get the same 105 I/O error. Copied the 4.5 folders back and it runs perfectly.

Help!!!

Why didn't you just use the original 4.6.2a kitchen in its working downloaded fashion? If I understand correctly, all those folders you moved basically make up the whole "rom" anyways, so it's not like you're trying to use a different sys/oem combo. Also, what program are you using to extract the folders, I've heard some programs like 7z lately are having problems with the kitchens, I use winrar personally and it works flawless everytime, no errors here. Hope this may help you out a little...

What problem were you having using the new sys with the new kitchen?
