hows the picmail working for everyone (arcsoft)? i cannot receive, but when i send it says it sent, but nothing is ever received...

Whenever calc upgrades his roms, he seems to add more goodies to the programs folder. I'm not sure what some are for. Can someone help me understand what the battery saving settings do. Also, what is the cab for "normal settings"? While we're at it, please explain what tyhe 2D and 3D graphics cabs do. Sorry to sound like a noob, but I've never seen these discussed anywhere. Thanks for the explanations!

Alright all my major issues were resolved by flashing to the shipped Alltel package first then back to Calc's kitchen build.

The two issues I have out standing are to do with SMS/SIP.

The first problem is with the HTC notification enhancement, all others seem fine (including MMS) but when I get an SMS notification and pull up the menu it displays that there is a text but tapping the SMS notification bar does nothing.

The other problem, and this is the more important of the two to me... is that when I open an SMS by tapping the message from the tab in Manila, the thread opens without the keyboard displayed. This was a problem in some of Conflippers early stuff but he did get it resolved, requires a lot of extra taps throughout a normal day for me as I text a lot... (I just note that the problem is intermittent, AND I've got AutoShow SIP enabled)

Any suggestions for these two?

Otherwise I couldn't be happier with the kitchen, thanks for all the hard work put into this.

The graphics ones just switch between the Omnia and CDMA drivers without having to reflash, I think... and the battery ones just toggle your rapid charge drivers on and off, and the other one puts your backlight settings down real low if you want to extend your batter life, I believe.

I don't use them so this is just gathered from what I have read.

I was able to send one yesterday no problem but I just tried again right now and getting the same problem you describe...

Also, I reflashed again and cleared storage... but still having the black screen in the Camera.

I'm flashing right now, but as soon as I'm done I'll double check mine. It was fine last night though.

Thanks! Can anyone else confirm picturemail not working with Arcsoft? I cab installed it and i'm about to uninstall it if others report problems.

My camera is working fine. It must be something you cooked in that I'm not using.
