I'm playing with a Titanium only 21882 ROM that I made... really nice so far.
Only thing I can't find are the settings for the "Long press end key" that were definitely included.
Anyone know of a simple reg edit I can do to get the icon to show up in Settings; System like it usually does? When I hold the key, the phone vibrates for 0.5s and that's it. I like setting it to lock.
Is there a different EXT that I should use? I don't mind flashing again- almost down to an art.

the longpress end key EXT package included in calk's kitchen should be fine. it's working fine for me.

you can customize the setting in it's app.reg to whichever function you would like. just change the:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\LongPressEndKey]
"AutoExecute"=dword:00000004

change the 4 to 2 for lock

not really sure what you're asking, but i think you want to open up a registry editor and make the appropriate changes noted in the post you linked.

Actually, I found the setting- It's in Settings;Personal;Buttons--> on the End Key tab.
I think it's just the way it sets up vs. the 6.5.3 ROMs I was using that had a separate icon in Settings;System.

Now if I can just get the newer Slide/Unlock app instead of the old style Lock/Unlock buttons. But that's a very minor thing, since I rarely use the lock.
