check out Calcu rom thread, post 2 has a couple standard Htc sips that work. Not 100% sure if they will work on this new Juicy release, but these seem to be the only ones that work on most roms.

I've tried to delete, or rename then delete smarttouch.dll with both Total Commander and Resco Explorer with no luck.

Juicy: This is the OEM Diamond SmartTouch package, could you please include it in your next release?

All credit for this SmartTouch goes to Trident, he found it and uploaded it initially.

Can anyone tell me that if I have to run a carrier customization to use this ROM? I'm with Sprint, the data connection is named as "sprint". In Juicy rom, all data connections are named as "DATA". Should I change it to "sprint"?

My data and tethering work under the name "DATA", just don't know if Sprint's gonna give me trouble. Thanks.

Alright I'm going to try this. I might have to do a hard reset first because I've messed with a bunch of reg keys trying to fix this and forgot what I did, lol.

Edit: Still won't work. After I try to rename it, it goes right back to .dll
I'm going to suggest you try using Resco Explorer (if you don't want to pay for it, just get the trial version).
I just used it and did exactly what I told you to do- I even had an issue when I tried to change the tmp file back to a dll. I had copy/past the original file (that I posted for you somewhere else) from my PC. Only then was I able to delete the smarttouch.tmp file.

I see you already tried Resco.
I'm out of ideas. Sorry.

That OEM that I posted shouldn't be credited to me... I got it from the Kitchen. Not sure if it was from Calkulin or indagroove, but it was one of them for sure.

And all you're doing is renaming the file via Resco --> Rename? Every time I tried to do that, then clicked off the file, it went right back to .dll

Juicy, can you not just make a fix for it? or did you replace the dialer with a different one... I don't see why they would remove auto-prend in the newer version...
