First - Thanks for all of the hard work Juicy I can only imagine how much work went into this ROM

Now - I do have several issues that I have found that made me reflash to 2.5.

1. I am unable to get 2nd Today to load on 2.6, fine on 2.5
2. I was unable to get Pocketbreeze, weatherpanel or phone alarm to display properly on the basic today screen with TF3D unselected. They appear corruptd on the today screen but work properly. Again letter perfect with 2.5

I was wondering if it had anything to do with the driver updates?

Not a complaint just a question.

my quick review:

So far, everything except for remapping contacts to icontact with SSMA is working. Exchange/active sync (my main concern) seem to be working perfectly! Battery seems decent. I am really happy with this! thank you so much for the hard work J!

Hope you get a touch pro soon cause I am planning on it and would love to have a sweet Rom!!!

I suggest that we adopt a beta program for these releases. Obviously there are some problems with the rom (not all Juicy's doing!) so labelling them as beta might help some people decide when or when not to upgrade. Secondly, a single forum thread is not an ideal medium to manage releases. There are 100's of posts and people are asking the same questions over and over. At the very least each rom version should have its own thread (with FAQ?).

I do not suggest that, mostly because, as Juicy said earlier, most of his releases are beta's. I believe that he and one or two people test these out before going out to everyone.
If you have bugs with the ROM, post them, and he will get to looking at them.

Juicy addressed this earlier in the thread, please read back a little bit.

The way they are getting released now is just fine.

There are other ROMs posted, or just stick with the stock Sprint if you don't like the way these are released.

Once again, sorry for sounding like an @$$, but come on, these ROMs are free to use, and I am sure that a lot of time and effort go into these.

just happened...

phone was plugged in to wall charger. got a call and missed it. tried to click on missed call and noticed that my screen is locked. need to do a soft reset in order to get it back to normal.

first time it happened since i put 2.6 on.

What has that got to do with anything? Free software can have beta phases too. It's just good engineering practice.

BTW I also think these rom packs should have a minor version number. It can be difficult to tell "updated" packs from previous ones. For instance, is the "updated" rom I downloaded last night the same as the "updated" rom this morning? (Retorical).

Shiet... Weird to see everyone having so many issues. I've really only had ONE stupid little issue wich is the landscape bug. EVERYTHING else has workd flawlessly for me, Sprint TV, GPS, Opera, ..., EVERYTHING!!

Granted I keep my install pretty clean, don't use Gyrator, S2U2, gAlarm or any of that.

I agree with you here, no issues for me. I have run Sprint TV without issues. I also have installed secondToday and it runs just fine.

phoneAlarm, WeatherPanel (and UltimateLaunch) are working fine for me. Note: I did a full reinstall of the apps (vs. restore).

One minor issue I noted: I enter the WeatherPanel settings from the Today plugin, change something, tap OK -> The wait cursor displays and doesn't go away (until I open another app)...

Maybe some people just aren't re-installing correctly. The guys that are having such random issues should try:

1 - Hard Reset your phone
2 - Let that first hard reset finish completely (no matter if your on Stock ROM or Juicy 2.5)
3 - Plug in the phone for active sync or windows mobile device center to detect it.
4 - Flash 2.6 with the RUU
5 - Wait for the entire flash and first boot up process to finish
6 - Hard Reset again and let all the customizations finish.

This will guarantee you have a fully fresh install. For me I flashed the VZW radio right after flashing Juicy's 2.6 wich performed the 2nd hard reset for me and I've seriously had NO ISSUES with 2.6 except for the landscape issues.
