working with cmonex, testing the first dumped CDMA radio. the first test was unsuccessful. the radio is almost ready but i cannot test now as i have scrambled my NV, so its bricked... dead as a door nail. we tried a few tings to unbrick.. it didn't work... so im going to attempt to swap. however i have a custom rom and stuff on it. last time i send back a device like this. telus billed my account for the cost of the replacement unit because the refurb/repar tecks reported that i did not have telus firmware and boot loader on it thus voiding warranty. i got boned for $499 billed ot my account for the swap unit. and i didn't even get to keep the old one the kept it.

You could always throw it in the microwave for a few seconds before sending it in for the swap.

Sorry I couldn't donate more, Juggalo - I've just already spent more on my Diamond than every other phone I've ever had combined and I donated to Cmonex, TobeyChris and will donate to Juicy when he gets his Paypal woking. I hope you're able to get the swap out -- if they do try to charge you again, I'd demand the bricked one back. If they're going to charge you for it, you own it.

Just tell them that if Telus had made sure to quality check the phones before release you would not have ever had to use custom roms and thus would not have bricked your phone. I do like the idea though.
