Okay, so 4.7 will be going into production soon enough, but I seriously don't feel like reading all the pages back. Could someone please PM me a list of fault/ glitches in 4.6? I will test them on a Diamond I have here, but 1st, I need to see and know what issues you guys are experiencing since the TP is my main phone. Thanks..

the ICR (in call recording) app does not launch on 4.6. you can still record, but you can't change any of the settings in the app or listen through the app

also, when I click on a link in the RSS hub program, opera goes to the homepage instead of the link; is that normal??

not sure if this has been mentioned yet but when you set the sound notification for a text message, and also set it to vibrate on new text, sometimes the vibrate motor stays on. You cannot turn it off unless you use the volume control to go to vibrate and then take it off vibrate.

Don't know anything about in-call recording, but if you will search this forum about the RSS issue, you will accomplish two things: 1) you will find the answer and 2) you won't piss off half the people here by asking a question thata search can answer. But I am feeling generous:

Also renamed htmlfile to htmlfile_Opera

I noticed in this rom (or maybe its all roms) that a media file automatically opens up in some crappy video player.

is there a way to set WMP as default?

I am curious about your reasoning behind this? I personally would think EVDO uses less power as it does not have to transmit as long to send data (shorter bursts).

I guess it really depends on your geographic location too.

I've read that if you're in an area with a weak EVDO signal, setting the phone to 1x-only should save power as it won't be constantly switching from 1x to EVDO. If you've got a strong, steady EVDO signal to begin with, you should be okay.

Still doesn't make that much sense in the end. Any switch to EVDO is going to save your battery life. Unless of course you are constantly switching back and forth.

Needless to say, that not why im posting.. I just wanted to put the word out there that the Diamond2 Keyboard cabs were causing my exchange problems. now you can all breath a sigh of relief and get some sleep. i know it was keeping you all up at night.

Cheers,
