Try installing the Juggalo's black s2a....Im on 4.1 with that cab and issue hasn't appeared in 2 days.4.2 definitely has ringer issue. Also i didnt install any configuration tools at all....Let me know what happens. Funny how so many smart people and know one knows what is causing this.

I can confirm this happens to me also on 3.9. Probably would burn out the vibrate motor if it happened when my phone not with me

It looks realllly easy, I was scared to do it on my mogul because it looked confusing, but now that I take the time to read, it looks easy.

Could you awesome people give me any advice because I am a NOOB and this will be my FIRST TIME EVER flashing or unlocking or even "hacking" the phone.

Thanks, any advice is appreciated.

Also, do I have to re activate my phone after flashing? Or is it fine like when hard resetting a stock rom?
You wont have to reprogram the device afterwards it will retain that info. I recently just falshed a phone for the first time wednesday. Hooray the only issue i had after reading the tutorial is getting the ROM to change from a .rar file to the .nbh necessary to download to the device its explained here

I also had the black s2a...but the one I was using had the curtain over the keys when on a call. I believe I got it from a link from "Calcu" and I think is Mr. Hawaii's. It worked great other than that. I have Juggalo's on v4.1 also...and have not seen the problem again. Hmmm. Has anyone running v4.2 and is running the s2a that came with MightyRom's v4.2 (meaning they have NOT installed any other s2a cab) seen the "no ring" problem?

I have just Mighty v4.2 with s2a included and I'm having the "no ring" problem.

I thought it might be something else I installed but I guess others are having same problem.

Re: [January 17th, 2009] M I G H T Y R O M 4 . 2 [SYS OS 21109 Build 21109] [UC]

I as well starting not getting calls yesterday evening. I am not just getting no rings, most of the calls are not registering at all. I called at least 8 times in a row and only 2 ended up showing as missed calls on my cellphone. This occurred when I called my cellphone from my home phone (lan line). I tried flashing several times but it only went away finally when I flashed back to the shipped rom. I tried another custom rom but the same thing occurred. Both roms have the new s2a feature. However, when I tried calling my phone I got this message:

"the caller you are trying to reach is not available at this time, message 2, switch 147 (not exact but close)"

Funny thing is I tried calling my phone from my wife cellphone and it went through fine. Also, Sprint did a test call as well and it went through. After flashing back to oem, I flashed 3.9 and currently I am not having any issues with calls. I just wanted to see if anyone else is getting a similiar message when they try to call their phone?

When I have used the car charger and htc head phones and the htc dongle on the go to charge and listen to FM Radio, I haven't had any static. Maybe it's your dongle

I have been usingthe black slide to answer, installing it with UC the entire time I've been using 4.2 and have had no issues with the ringtome switching. Must be the white s2a or the way it was ported from the cab to the rom.

Anyone using 4.1 and the white s2a able to report on the issue?

I had the same problem with this rom and a older Calkulin ROM having the same ringer problem (no sound on the ringer) but Calkulin fixed the problem in his latest release. Might want to check it out and see if it fixes the problem once you flash over.
